Características Fullbore metal Este pedal maneja 3 controles de eq que lo hacen un pedal muy versátil en cuanto al tono que podemos obtener, en cuanto al genero no es muy versátil que digamos. Como sucede con la mayoría de pedales que manejan una gran cantidad de parámetros es un poco difícil de manejar para una persona con poca experiencia, el eq parametrico que tenemos en la banda de medios puede se un dolor de cabeza terrible para el inexperto, así que les recomiendo asesorarse muy bien en cuanto a manejo de frecuencias, anchos de banda y frecuencias claves en la guitarra antes de comprarlo. El Fullbore metal claramente es para tocar metal, aun cuando se le pueden manejar diferentes tipos de ganancia y manejarlo como una distorsión leve, el sonido de su distorsión lo limita bastante, no es un pedal muy versátil en cuanto a genero, en ese sentido es mejor el mt2 de Boss. Algo interesante de este pedal es el “Boost”, este pequeño control hace una acentuación sobre las frecuencias bajas y altas y cuando se acciona es probable que todo tu hogar comience a temblar. Otra característica de este pedal es que trae incluido un noise gate, con esto logramos minimizar el ruido que se presenta con estos pedales, el control de ajuste del gate viene oculto lo cual para muchos es un error de diseño pero para mi es un total acierto, un gate debe manejarse con cuidado, no es muy fácil de ajustar, si lo cuadramos mal es posible que afectemos mucho el sonido de la distorsión, los chicos de MXR saben esto y prefirieron esconder el control antes de dejarlo en manos inexpertas. Algo que me gusta mucho de este pedal es el hecho de ser True Bypass, de esta forma no altera el sonido de nuestra guitarra, algo que si sucede con pedales de otras marcas. Otro aspecto importante del Fullbore metal es que es 100% análogo y para mi eso siempre significa 100% mejor calidad de sonido. Mi calificación para el Fullbore metal: 10/10, solo recordemos que es para metal, si buscas una distorsión mas suave, el catalogo de la MXR tiene excelentes alternativas.
